Problems viewing ANY randomizers (14th Feb 09 at 2:37am UTC)
They only show up when directly linked to...
EDIT: I have now found that I cannot view ANY randomizers on this computer unless viewing a direct link to them.
So I want to know what I should do to fix this... I'll try a few minor adjustments to my internet settings in the meanwhile, but if a solution comes up I'll jump on it... (more like pounce on it and maul it, though, as I'm actually kinda pissed off at the whole ordeal {Wink} )

All I can say that I think would really matter is that on both types of computers I have tried, both use the same version of Firefox and both are a form of Windows XP.
And the only reason I bothered with using these randomizers is because when I joined, I actually COULD see them, and it was great to use them!
But now? I'm SOL {Sad}

=====
What I mean is that when I hotlink ANY of my randomizers, like so:

(yes, I'm a metallica fan)
...I cannot see them on this computer!
However, when I view them by entering its URL directly (or clicking a link to its URL), I see them perfectly fine (although I have to click "back" and them reload the page):

http://a.random-image.net/vertigo04/metallica02.jpg
http://a.random-image.net/vertigo04/metallica02sizebedamned.jpg

I can view the individual images at the site I hosted them as well, which is imageshack (when I tried them with photobucket, like I did the first time, not a single image worked...).

HOWEVER, I was able to view these randomizers normally on a public computer at my school.

I have one question to sum this up:
Why?

How old is your home computer [or the one you're experiencing this issue on]?

Oh, sorry I haven't been able to get onto the site lately.
To answer your question, I fail to see how a computer's AGE solely determines the problem. :-\
It's from... I dunno, 04?

I have viewed my randomizers on older computers, one of them is from as far back as '99, but it has been forever since I have used it to see my randomizers, and back then the computer that is having problems with viewing them (the one I am on now) could view them.

This wouldn't really be an issue with the randomizers... likely something going on with your computer or your connection. I have not seen any browser incompatible with the randomizers themselves. Were there any programs you installed or settings you changed that coincided with the randomizers no longer displaying? Perhaps something on your computer or your network is blocking it?

I asked about your computers age because if the computer were to of been really old, it wouldn't have the compatibilities for Image Randomizers/

The old comps at my school don't work with it.

I wouldn't know if a program I installed is blocking it. I would try to view via IE but lately every time I start up IE I get a virus or some kind of malware.
And at my home, I only have one computer hooked up to the internet. The only possibility would be my firewall, and there's absolutely nothing in its blocking rules relating to this site, heck I even have it set up as a "trusted site."

As a side note, at the moment I am on a school computer and I can view randomizers perfectly, given the hosting medium is not Photobucket or some other site that is blocked. In the case of my randomizers, they are hosted on imageshack which is not blocked, so I see my randomizers.
