I have now restored the "Customize Your Page" feature under the new system. If you log in and go to "customize your page", you should see your member page HTML exactly as it was before the feature was disabled. The only differences now is the slightly reduced character limit, and that you need to enable it (check the "Enabled" checkbox) before anyone else can view your page.
